Asking good questions is essential for circles. Circle keepers need to prepare good questions and also be able to formulate new questions as a circle progresses. This session will focus on four key characteristics of good questions: openness, neutrality, singularity and clarity. Participants will practice formulating questions for a variety of real life situations related to schools, children and families, workplaces and leadership and receive feedback on their questions. The facilitator will also offer tips for finding cues in the circle dialogue to formulate new questions and what circle keepers can do when a circle seems to be at a standstill, participants are not responding sincerely or the circle does not seem to be flowing well.
